    Marc Kermisch is VP and CIO at Red Wing Shoe Company. At Red Wing, he is accountable for all aspects of technology from manufacturing to its retail stores. Over the past 2 years, he has focused on rolling out a new Point of Sale system, launching direct to consumer eCommerce, and transforming its customer service technology. Prior to Red Wing, Marc spent 8 years at Target Corporation in a variety of roles from Application Development and Security to Infrastructure and Program Management. Marc has experience in Retail, Manufacturing, Public Utilities, Financial Services, Software and Start-ups.

    The Red Wing Shoe Company markets Red Wing, WORX, Vasque and Irish Setter brand footwear as well as Red Wing Workwear world-wide. The privately-held company is based in Red Wing, Minnesota and also owns S.B. Foot Tanning Company and the St. James Hotel.

    ONCE AGAIN in 2017, UPSIZE and CLUB E are joining forces to provide information vital to small-business owners in a series of luncheon workshops at the Minneapolis Club. On March 23rd the focus will be on the M&A market, covering topics such as who are the buyers of smaller companies, how companies are valued, mistakes sellers make, and much more. The workshop will help companies with all facets of the sale process, and introduce local experts who can serve as trusted resources.

    Panel of experts

    UPSIZE and CLUB E will assemble a panel of experts – people who make their living serving and advising growing companies – to present helpful information and answer questions from the audience. The panel will also include business owners with relevant, real-life experience.

    Who should attend?

    The workshop will be geared towards entrepreneurs, CEOs, presidents, small-business owners and executives. Questions from the audience will be encouraged.

    Cost: 

    $29.00, which includes the program, lunch and parking during the event (see below).
